Exercise Patience, And Save Your Voice
When faced with a noisy class, exercise a little patience and save your voice. Wait time and staring are the to most effective methods I use to quite a class. I will just wait the class you, this not only quiets them but also focuses them as I can give them a moment to get it out of their systems. Never sacrifice your voice for the sake of getting through your lesson plan. You'll have another day to teach, your voice may be got tomorrow then your really up the creek without a paddle. We are teachers our voices are one of our greatest assets, so be kind to your vocal cords and treat them with the respect they deserve!
